I was a human. Was. I worked for NASA and was assigned to fly the saxxton 5-100, which was well-known for the fact that was only spacecraft that was capable of flying to mars.(and back, of course!)
five minutes after had taken off, the man who would do anything to take my place as pilot and probably would send us smashing back down to earth asked if I wanted to go for a space-walk.Brendon,they called him but there was a very believable rumor that he was a spy for the Russians, and that entailed having a different name and being willing to kill us all at any given time.
These facts and more screamed no to opposing feeling, that burning desire, that I had wanted to "space-walk" for 17 years! or 18.Anyways, the spoiler is that no matter how much evidence i can put against it, my burning desire always wins.In a reluctant tone,I, Marella said "yes"and was immediately told where the spacesuits and airlocks and all the things that I could possibly need to know told with the wide smug smile of Brendon.
As he helped me get all the stuff I would need, I tried to ignore the thoughts that were swarming around my head. The "loudest" thoughts were the basic "what's with the smile?" followed by the thought that "what was he planning?" after some creative answers given by none other then my brain, I focused on the main question, which was "would he do it?". My fear burned up into burning (duh!) anxiety to go out into the final frontier.
2 minutes later, my anxiety dissolved as went into the infinite vacuum called space. I then regretted the way I worded that as the fear settled back into my stomach which was moaning. I should of eaten my lunch before-hand. Anyways, I looked at the windows to find my best friend, ayizumel.
What I saw surprised and scared I almost wet my spacesuit. I didn't, of course because it takes some time to take that off and anything is less embarrassing then that.
*tap tap* hi? *whisper* oh right, the main story. Sorry 'bout that. So the 2 things that were scaring me were:A, the fact that Brendon was pushing buttons and pulling levers in the cockpit and B, the smoking engines were giving off a bit of fire. But then a moment later as my fears came true, as the engines gave off their beautiful multicolored fire, as Brendon silently did a victory dance, cheering and whooping, as the dull gray spaceship held me by the thin rope which just then jerked at a speed that sent me flying, burning up into a hard rock.
The last thing I remember in my human form was going into a strange machine with a red-bearded man with a few other people holding clipboards.
THE END
for now...
